Incumbent Brion Curran advances in the Primary

White Bear Lake, August 13, 2024 – Representative Brion Curran, she/they, the incumbent House Representative in District 36B, is thrilled to announce their victory in the 2024 Democratic primary election. In a statement released today, Curran expressed deep pride in the positive, issues-focused campaign and gratitude to the dedicated team, volunteers, and voters who made this success possible.

"I am incredibly honored by the trust that the people of 36B have placed in me once again," said Curran. "This victory belongs to every person who knocked on doors, made phone calls, and believed in our vision for a brighter future. Our campaign was built on the hard work and passion of a truly dedicated team, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished together."

The representative emphasized the importance of the upcoming general election, expressing determination to continue the fight to maintain the DFL trifecta. "As we look toward November, I am more energized than ever to ensure that our progress is protected and that we continue to fight for the values we all hold dear. The stakes are high, and we must work tirelessly to keep the DFL trifecta and ensure that our district - and all of Minnesota - remains a place where everyone can thrive."

In addition to thanking their campaign team, Curran extended heartfelt gratitude to the voters.
